JOHN STENKO

Little Theatre's John StenkoJOHN STENKO, as an artist and a performer, has been in show business since his debut on Philadelphia television at 11 years of age. His credits are numerous. They include acting, directing, set design, and choreography — just about every facet of live theatre. Who could ever forget his appearance in the 2007 Hammy Award-winning role of the singing and “Side Stepping” Governor in The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas, which he also directed. He has since appeared as Sydney in Catch Me If You Can. He also played the comical father of the bride in Plaza Suite, He directed the “show of the season” three years ago, Lend Me A Tenor, which sold out every performance (all nine of them) and another sold out hit since then, Out Of Order. Last season he directed two shows: Funny Money and A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum.

John will be directing two more shows this season for the Little Theatre - our classic winter romp, I Hate Hamlet, a comedy by Paul Rudnick, which opens January 13, 2012, and a musical, Pajama Game which opens on February 24.
