JOHN
STENKO, as an artist and a performer, has been
in show business since his debut on Philadelphia television
at 11 years of age. His credits are numerous and someone
could write a really big book about him. They include
acting, directing, set design, and choreography
just about every facet, nook and cranny of live theatre.
Who could ever forget his appearance in the 2007 Hammy
Award-winning role of the singing and Side Stepping
Governor in The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas,
which he also directed. He has since appeared as Sydney
in Catch Me If You Can. He also played the
comical father of the bride in Plaza Suite,
He directed the show of the season two
years ago, Lend Me A Tenor, which sold out
every performance (all nine of them) and another sold
out hit since, Out Of Order.
John will be directing two shows this season for
the Little Theatre - our classic winter romp, Funny
Money, which opens in January 2011, and our musical,
A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum.
