MORE ABOUT THE HAMMYS

The Little Theatre of New Smyrna Beach, located on the beachside near the intersection of A1A and 3rd Avenue, hosts 8 live shows each season. Six of these shows are included in what we call our Season Ticket Package. So there are two "extra shows" not included in that package - the Summer Show and our Holiday Season Show. If you'd like to see all the shows coming up, you can click on "What's Playing" on the left of your screen and this will take you to a page on our website that has information on each of the shows. Clicking on "Auditions" will tell you about the roles that are available in each of the shows, information about the director of the show and audition dates.

If you are an actor, you will really enjoy playing a role on our stage in one of our productions. We have a lineup each season that sells out just about every performance. And our LT Directors are among the best with extensive backgrounds in all facets of live theatre.

If you are a theatregoer, you need to come to the Little Theatre and see for yourselves the quality and depth of our live stage performances. We are the busiest Community Theatre in Central Florida and we have state of the art lights and sound, costume shop, set building shop and an auditorium that seats 250, with ample wheel chair seating for your party. There are many fine restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the Little Theatre if you'd like to make it an evening out with your friends.

Now, about the Hammy Awards - at the end of each season, we hold a semi-formal bash with all the trimmings. You can read about the latest of these events by clicking below on 2010 Hammy Awards. At this event, we recognize the best in each category for cast and crew from running the lights to the actor playing one of the leads in a drama, or comedy or musical. It's a lot of fun and it makes for some excitement at the end of the season.
