Over 50 years ago, we celebrated Neil Armstrong’s first step on the moon. Before this lunar landing, it was a giant leap for the talented seamstresses who went from making Playtex undergarments, to facing the uphill challenge of constructing Spacesuits that would keep the astronauts alive on a lunar surface. This play is inspired by the events of the dedicated seamstresses and engineers who designed the Spacesuits for the first ever walk on the moon.
