BEGINNERS TAP DANCE CLASS
Learn the fundamentals of tap dance in a fun, welcoming environment! This beginner class for ages 11–17 covers essential steps, rhythms, time steps, shuffles, and tricks while building confidence, coordination, and musicality. Whether you’re brand new to tap or looking to strengthen your basics, you’ll have a great time learning and growing.
Ages 11-17
Saturdays from 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Instructor Dereck Fajardo
A musical theatre performer and tap dancer who loves sharing his passion for dance with others, Derek enjoys working with students of all experience levels and strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable learning, asking questions, and growing together. Derek’s personal goal is to help each dancer build a strong foundation in tap while having fun along the way.
